Overview
ISVs are specialists – at developing competitive software products.  Few ISVs have the in-house skills nor the inclination to address the myriad of hardware issues that arise from an appliance project.  That’s why many of the world’s most recognized ISVs partner with SteelCloud.  SteelCloud becomes their “virtual hardware division”, acting as an extension of their own organizations.  By offloading these responsibilities to SteelCloud, the software vendors get superior results, maximize their profits, and are able to focus on what they do best.

Not all Appliances are Appliances
The term “appliance” (or “network appliance”) is brandished freely these days.  Originally it was used to describe a specially designed server with application software pre-loaded, one that was so easy to deploy it was like plugging in a toaster.  Today it is used by many to refer to any server with application software already installed.  At SteelCloud, we adhere faithfully to the original intent – devices that are easy to deploy, support, and upgrade in the field.  Only these true network appliances can deliver the business value to an ISV that enables them to achieve their strategic goals: increased market share, improved profitability, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
